OVR
receives grant for project to recycle, reuse medical
equipment in Appalachia
The Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (KYOVR)
was recently awarded a $450,000 grant to develop the
infrastructure to recycle and redistribute assistive
technology and durable medical equipment (DME) in
the Appalachian region of Kentucky.

| First Lady Jane Beshear visited West Liberty
Elementary School in Morgan County May 7 to announce that the
Governor’s Office Tornado Relief Book Drive has collected more than
11,000 books for schools affected by recent tornado damage.

| 28th annual Ky Archives Institute set for
June 22 |
| The 28th annual Kentucky Archives
Institute is scheduled for June 22, 2012 at the Kentucky
Department for Libraries and Archives in Frankfort. The Institute, sponsored by the
Friends of Kentucky Public Archives Inc., provides information for scholars,
general researchers and genealogists interested in archival research.

for Libraries and Archives (KDLA) offers a number of resources and services
to state government employees — access to books, audiobooks, and DVDs; free
reference assistance, free information training; information on state and
federal publications; and assistance with government records management. For

KEAP offers free classes
The Kentucky Employee Assistance Program (KEAP) will begin conducting
free workshops on topics such as managing stress, anxiety and money, and facing
the challenges of eldercare at KSU using the Office for Employee & Organizational Development's (formerly GSC) facilities.
